| Résumé : | A serious game is a digital or non-digital game designed primarily to achieve an explicit purpose beyond entertainment, such as learning, training, health promotion, communication or behaviour change, relying on rules, a feedback system, and measurable outcomes (Michael & Chen, 2006; Zyda, 2005). These games aim to (Alvarez et al., 2016): • Teach academic subjects (like math, science, or history) • Develop cognitive and problem-solving skills • Simulate real-world scenarios for experiential learning • Motivate learners through immersive storytelling and gameplay Unlike traditional teaching methods, serious games foster active participation and deeper understanding by making learning fun, memorable, and measurable (Connolly et al., 2012; Wouters et al., 2013). |
