| Abstract: | This article, based on a Master's thesis on the Survivre et Vivre movement, analyzes -- from a historical perspective -- the sociological conditions that enabled the ideological transition of certain influential members of the Bourbaki group (namely Claude Chevalley, Alexandre Grothendieck, and Pierre Samuel) toward forms of political engagement and vehement criticism of the scientific-military-industrial complex, illustrated by the founding of the Survivre movement. |
