Abstract: Université TÉLUQ, formerly known as Télé-université, is a distance education university affiliated with the Université du Québec (UQ) network. Founded in 1972, it is the only French-speaking university in North America that offers an entirely online and continuous enrollment model across all academic levels—bachelor’'s, master’'s, and doctoral. TÉLUQ serves approximately 20,000 students annually, the majority of whom are women (approximately 72%) and over the age of 30 (approximately 63%). The university offers a comprehensive curriculum with more than 430 asynchronous, self-paced distance courses and 125 programs across four academic departments: the School of Business Administration, the Department of Education, the Department of Science and Technology, and the Department of Humanities, Letters, and Communication. With this extensive range of academic offerings, TÉLUQ aims to meet the diverse educational needs of adult learners, providing flexible learning opportunities accessible from anywhere in the world.
