| Résumé : | Learning object (LO) management is an important issue to enable the interoperability and reusability premises of international standards. We will present here the main features of a suite of tools that serve that purpose, covering the identification-referencing-search-use cycle in LO repositories. We will show how LOs can be identified on the Internet or on a Local Area Network, and how they can be published and referenced in a standardized Metadata repository. Services to access, structure, annotate and search such a repository will be presented. Finally, three types of editors will be described where a metadata repository is used to combine LOs into a larger LO, to integrate them in an actor’s environment, and to build Instructional Structures or scenarios integrating activities, roles and LOs used or produced. |
