| Abstract: | This report is a summary of the primary observations from the 2016 survey data and, outside of a few select occasions, does not attempt to compare this data to prior IGDA surveys. The first part of the report includes sections answered by all respondents: Demographics, Diversity, Education, and Business Trends and Future Outlook. The second part of the report paints a profile of the work experiences of particular groups of workers (employees, freelancers and the self-employed) as well as the currently unemployed and students. The data used for this report was collected through an industry and university partnership between the International Game Developers Association (IGDA), Western University and TÉLUQ. |
